How To Find A Personal Trainer
ByI think everybody who has ever trained in a gym or outside in a park has seen what I am about to share.
These are the pet hates of any Personal Trainer worth their salt and are the main things you should look out for in the perfect how to find a personal trainer search.
Let’s see if your trainer, or your prospective trainer possesses any of these traits.
Have you ever seen the Personal Trainer who starts every session with do 2 laps around the oval and then we can start. The other scenario is the guy who works in a gym and gets their client to warm up on the treadmill.
Why do they do this? One because they are not properly planned for the session ahead and are just planning to wing it and hope that they get some inspiration while you are on your run.
Secondly, because they are too lazy to research the most effective warm up techniques.
To me it doesn’t make sense to go for a run around the block and then go straight into a weights workout. It does not properly prepare your body for the job ahead.
The other thing that really leaves me scratching my head in amazement is those Personal Trainers who are still giving their clients a static stretching routine as a warm up This is just a surefire way to increase your risk of injury because your muscles don’t like being stretched like this then going straight into a full on exercise. You have to warm up your body with like motions – just the ones that you’d find in a dynamic full body warm up
It gets your body ready for the job ahead – it gets your mind ready for what’s coming and you are reducing your risk of injury big time.
